About the Role:
Limitless Horizons is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as ILS Community Facilitators. In this role, you will work one-on-one with adults with developmental disabilities, helping them learn the skills they need to live safely and independently in their own homes and communities.
This is meaningful, hands-on work that directly improves the lives of others.
Pay Rate:
$17.00/hour – No prior experience is necessary we are happy to teach
$18.00/hour – With at least 1 year of relevant experience
What You’ll Do:
Support clients in daily living skills such as:
Cooking, grocery shopping, and meal planning
Budgeting and money handling
Cleaning, organization, and hygiene
Using public transportation and navigating the community
Scheduling medical appointments and managing routines
Helping clients apply for public benefits like Medi-Cal, CalFresh, and discounted transit passes
Building communication, confidence, and self-advocacy skills
Follow client service goals and adapt support based on individual needs
Maintain simple and accurate documentation of visits
Work independently in clients’ homes and out in the community
Travel between client sessions as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (if driving between clients)
Ability to pass a Live Scan background check and TB test
Strong communication, patience, and time management skills
Respect for individual choice and client independence
Willingness to learn – no prior experience required
Mileage Reimbursement:
Mileage is reimbursed only when driving between client sessions during the workday.
Schedule:
Flexible hours available – morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
Part-time and full-time opportunities based on your availability
